Research and Advocacy
Research & Advocacy
Advancing hearing healthcare through science and social change.
Listening to the Data. Speaking Up for the Community.
Phonics Hearing Centre is more than a care provider—we are also a driving force behind evidence-based research and nationwide advocacy for hearing health in Nigeria. Our mission is not only to treat hearing loss but to transform the systems, policies, and perceptions that shape hearing healthcare in West Africa.
We bridge the gap between data and decision-making by producing original research, collaborating with global experts, and influencing public policy to protect those at risk of hearing impairment.

Our Advocacy Philosophy
“Without data, there is no visibility. Without visibility, there is no change.”
We believe every child has a right to early detection and intervention for hearing loss—and that the first step to systemic change is raising a collective voice backed by real evidence.
